02 · Method

The approach

Sam Devine spent twenty years running a design build firm before he started teaching this work. The lesson from that world carries directly into software. Good buildings get made by general contractors who understand sequencing, foundations, and how the trades fit together. Not by specialists working in isolation.

Most people fail with modern AI and no-code tools because they try to think like software engineers. Atelier Matera teaches you to think like a builder. Sequence the work. Lay foundations. 03 · Engagements

In person, anywhere

The work happens best in a room. Atelier Matera runs private engagements on site at your company, anywhere in the world. Five days, eight people maximum, working on their own machines on problems specific to your business. The team leaves with working software and the capacity to build more.

Engagements have been delivered across the United States and internationally. Travel is part of the offering, not a surcharge.

Remote one on one

For individuals or leaders who want focused private instruction, Atelier Matera offers remote one on one engagements by the day. The format suits founders, operators, and technical leads who need to move fast and cannot free up a full week for a cohort.
